2013 Camry Model Choices

America’s favorite mid-size sedan continues its legacy in the 2013 Toyota Camry. With the Camry’s improved performance, technology, interior, and superior safety ratings, it’s also a top pick for Birmingham. The 2013 Camry is offered in four solid trims. So, which one do you choose?

The 2013 Camrys are front-wheel drive and have a standard six-speed automatic transmission. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine makes 178-hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. Camry SE and XLE trims offer a second 3.5-liter V6 engine option that produces 268 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. The added power does effect EPA estimates, bringing the SE and XLE to 21 mpg city/31 mpg hwy for 25 mpg combined* to the 4-cylinder’s 25/35/28, although both remain equally impressive.

The Camry L

The Camry L is a great choice for anyone who wants to stay with the basic necessities, whether it’s a company car or a gift to a graduate. As Camry’s base model, the L comes equipped with 16-inch steel wheels, power windows and mirrors, tilt telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, split-folding rear seats, and a trip computer. The Camry L has a 6-inch display and comes with Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, a six-speaker sound system, HD and satellite radio, CD player, auxiliary input, and USB interface.

(MSRP from $22,235)

The Camry LE

The LE is a step up from the L, and appeals to a broader audience. Adding on to the Camry L’s steady base, the LE comes equipped with auto on/off headlamps, power locks, remote keyless entry, outside temperature display, and steering wheel mounted audio controls.

(MSRP from $22,680)

The Camry SE

The SE is the sport model. As such, the SE’s sport-tuned suspension makes for a more responsive handling. The sporty look of the SE is enhanced with styling treatments, sport seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The SE out does the LE with 17-inch alloy wheels, foglamps, and heated side mirrors.

For those seeking supreme performance and luxury features, the V6 powered SE adds 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless ignition, a navigation system, voice recognition, and Toyota’s Entune intelligent infotainment system with smartphone and internet integration.

(MSRP from $23,400)

The Camry XLE

The XLE is Camry’s top trim level. While the XLE doesn’t have the SE’s sport-tuned suspension, it does have heated side mirrors, foglamps, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, eight-way power adjustable driver seat, and the Entune multimedia infotainment interface.

Those who want ultimate luxury can find it in the V6 powered, leather upholstered XLE, which also has a rearview camera, auto-dimming rearview mirror, power front passenger seat, and heated front seats.

(MSRP from $24,855)
