Have you ever watched someone knit and wondered how they do it? You can’t understand how they can take some yarn and turn it into something special. You can find out how at Knitwise Tuesdays at the Birmingham Public Library. This event happens every Tuesday through May 16 at the Central Library downtown. It starts after school and is open to elementary, middle, and high school students. Stop by after school so you can learn some skills and make new friends. You are certain to have a lot of fun at this one-of-a-kind event.

From Beginners to Experts – Something for Everyone

One of the great things about Knitwise Tuesdays is it is open to all skill levels. If you’ve never picked up a knitting needle before, you can stop by and learn the basics. On the other hand, if you have done it for years, you can still come by and learn some new tricks. From novice knitters to experts, this event caters to everyone.

Additional Details

This event begins at 3:30 every Tuesday and ends at 5 p.m. That gives everyone time to socialize. With so much time at the library, it will be easy to make some new friends that have the same interests as you.

It is free of charge, so you don’t have to worry about spending your money when you attend. That is a great reason to come every Tuesday.
