About the Birmingham Barons
The Barons are a minor-league baseball team based in Birmingham, Alabama. Tracing history back, the original Barons team was established in 1885. This baseball team is the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and plays in the Southern League. They’re really good at the game, too! In fact, the Barons won the Southern League Championship in 2013. When you head out to a Barons game, you’ll find that the team has many diverse players from all over the country.
