Locked In: The Birmingham Escape Game
Locked In is a fun and challenging real life adventure for groups of 2-8 people. your team works together finding clues and solving puzzles to escape from a locked room. you only have 60 minutes! can you escape in time? there is no pause button and no respawning, this is live. you will need to crack codes and solve puzzles to get out. there are currently 3 different rooms to choose from, each with their own level of difficulty and rate of success.

First Avenue Rocks
First Avenue Rocks is Birmingham’s premier rock climbing facility located in the heart of downtown. Their gym has something for everyone — whether you’re brand new to the climbing scene or a seasoned veteran. They were designed specifically for bouldering, but have dedicated wall space with auto-belay routes along with a fitness room with standard weight and cross-training equipment. First Avenue Rocks is also available for birthday parties and private events.
Attention: all children under the age of 18 must have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian before they can climb. Please note: legal guardians must present proof of guardianship before they can sign a child’s waiver.
Vulcan Materials Zip Trip at Red Mountain Park
Your aerial adventure takes place overlooking the land where Birmingham began. The Vulcan Materials Zip Trip offers a thrilling ride with breathtaking views. You’ll soar over Red Mountain’s natural landscape, historical mining sites, and the surrounding valleys. For one hour, you will be transported 40 feet above Red Mountain, traveling from one tree house to the next by a series of seven exciting zip lines, sky bridge and cable swing.
There are also 3 other RMP adventures you can choose from, including Hugh Kaul Beanstalk Forest, Kaul Adventure Tower, and Mega Zip at Kaul.
Accessibility: The Vulcan Materials Zip Trip can, oftentimes but not always, accommodate guests who use wheelchairs or crutches, but does require a two week notice so that Adventure staff may full prepare for a safe, fulfilling tour for each guest.
Padella Stand-Up Paddleboarding
Padella offers stand-up paddleboard rentals, as well as classes designed to teach you how to design, build, and ride your own board! Padella was founded in 2011, intending to add something new and different to Birmingham’s outdoor active lifestyle scene. Growing the operation from a small rental business to shaping, building and customizing boards, Padella’s goal is to bring people’s ideas and dreams to reality. Their boards are cut out of high density foam, covered with 3 6oz sheets of fiberglass/epoxy on top and 2 6oz sheets on the bottom. They use a single fin set on their boards but can add more if needed.
Class info: At the end of our 4 week class, you will have designed, created and built your very own Padella Board. As the artist, you can pick the graphics, colors, size, & deckpads.
