Homewood Central Park on Oxmoor Road is a great option for young families with children. There is a very large playground and field area that is the perfect spot for playtime. Nature

Take the scenic route when you visit Aldridge Gardens in Hoover, Alabama. This park offers an array of nature and wildlife that is unmatched in the area. Water

Splash pads are all the rage during the sweltering summer months in Alabama. The Explore Playground and Splashpad at the Hoover Met Complex is a huge area dedicated to summer family fun.
