You’ve seen him outrun a T-Rex and sabotage an alien invasion, and now you can see him live at the Alys Stephens Center! Actor/jazz musician Jeff Goldblum will perform for the 2019 VIVA Health Starlight Gala this June, so grab your tickets and get ready for a night of music and laughs.
WHEN AND WHERE
Goldblum will grace the Jemison Concert Hall at the Alys Stephens Center on Sunday, June 2. The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m., and Goldblum will perform at 6 p.m. The venue is located at 1200 10th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35205. Tickets are available HERE.
JEFF GOLDBLUM AND THE MILDRED SNITZER ORCHESTRA
The night’s entertainment will come courtesy of famed actor Jeff Goldblum. While his characteristic humor and wit will no doubt be on full display, Goldblum will also delight the assembled guests while seated at his piano. Along with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, the star will perform a number of jazz standards with charm and panache. He’ll also have some comedy in store for the evening.
THE STARLIGHT GALA
Lauded as the “crown jewel” of Birmingham’s performing arts, this annual event benefits Alys Stephens Center’s efforts to support arts education and programming throughout the community. These initiatives reach over 19,000 people across Birmingham each year. In years past, the gala has hosted other talented performers like renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and singer Kristen Chenoweth.
