The Toyota Avalon has returned in the market for a 2014 model, only this time, it comes with a far more youthful appeal compared to its predecessors. Attracting a much younger clientele, the 2014 Toyota Avalon features last year’s redesign that brought about a different character to the sedan. The changes include a more dynamic design, better performance, new technology, excellent interior, and an all the more sophisticated personality. Let’s take a deeper look at what makes this year’s model an option to seriously consider, if you’re in the market for a full-size sedan.
Performance and Comfort
Available in four trim levels (XLE, XLE Premium, XLE Touring, and Limited), each model now comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 268 horsepower. One of the changes to the 2014 Toyota Avalon is that it has become a more comfortable drive for both driver and his passengers. Especially since the new model comes with an extremely roomy interior, there is enough room for everyone to get comfortable. Its back seats have been carefully suited to fit adults and still provide them enough thigh support. Finally, there is a 16-cubic-foot trunk on this new Avalon; which provides enough space for grocery shopping.
Safety
Among the safety features that have become available with all Avalon trim models include a backup camera, rear cross traffic alert system, front knee bags, and rear side-thorax airbags. There is an option to include a blind spot monitoring system on the XLE Touring model.
Meanwhile on the top trim level, Limited, base features include perforated leather upholstery, heated rear seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a rear sunshade, three-zone automatic climate control, HID headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and a 785-watt JBL Audio system. Once the Tech Package is added, additional features on the Limited trim include a Pre-Collision System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Automatic High Beams.
With the new features on the 2014 Toyota Avalon, it’s no longer a surprise why plenty of young professionals are becoming interested in it. You can check out the 2014 Toyota Avalon features in person now at Limbaugh Toyota!
