Despite its rugged suspension setup, the Tacoma provides a surprisingly quiet ride on the open road, paved or not. This full-size pickup truck drives like a dream, no matter what road you find yourself traveling.
Toyota Tacoma TRD Available Options
The latest Tacoma will be available only as a Double Cab Off-Road 4×4 model with the shorter five-foot bed. Its rugged power is supplied by Toyota’s recognizable 278-hp 3.5-liter V-6 engine. Exterior color choices are limited to Cement, Barcelona Red Metallic, and Super White. As far as the transmission goes, you will have the option of either a six-speed manual or an automatic.
Toyota Tacoma TRD Standard Features
The 2017 Toyota Tacoma will come with TRD Pro’s characteristic “TOYOTA” block-lettered grille, and black 16-inch wheels with Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tires. A plethora of other exterior features will serve as reminders that this isn’t the old, run-of-the-mill Tacoma.
