With inspiration from our friends at Better Homes & Gardens, we put together a list of our favorite fall crafts. These projects will keep your family entertained and your house looking up to the season. Enjoy!
Cozy Sweater Vases
Wondering what to do with those cable-knit sweaters you’ve outgrown or found at your local thrift store? Use them to cover your flower vases for a nice fall look. First, cut the sleeves off. Next, stretch them over your vase (cylindrical vases work best). Place the vase inside the sweater at the chest. Fold the edges into the cylinder and begin packing the sweater tightly into the vase until the exterior is tightly secured. Use double-sided tape if you need to. Lastly, fill your vase with fall foliage found in your yard or local nature trail.
Fall Wreath
Welcome your family this fall with a beautiful farmhouse wreath. This craft is simple to create and can instantly put everyone in the fall holiday spirit. First, purchase a grapevine wreath from your local craft store. Then, use a hot glue gun to add fall flowers and foliage. Then take a florist wire and attach a burlap bow to the outside ring.
Welcome Home Pumpkin Patch
Transform your porch into a pumpkin patch with this easy DIY fall craft project. First, visit your local farmer’s market or pumpkin patch and purchase a variety of pumpkins, including white, mini, and colorful gourds. Use a large, naturally-colored, woven basket and gather your pumpkins together to place inside the basket. Use a large white pumpkin and a permanent marker to add this pattern to the front side. Place the white pumpkin in the center as the focal point of your pumpkin patch.
