Oh, and don’t forget the popcorn.
Frightfully Good Movies
Let’s start right off the bat with “Harry Potter,” a nice story about a young boy who discovers he has magical powers. The first one is a little more appropriate for younger kids than the last one in the series. In addition, “Knives Out” and “Silence of the Lambs” are both thrilling, but only after the kids have gone to bed.
Movies That Draw Your Attention
There’s no shortage of animated movies that are perfect for this time of year, and they’re typically ideal for folks of all ages. Check out “Coraline,” the story of a young girl who finds a hidden door to the world of her dreams. And of course you can’t miss with any of the Charlie Brown classics.
Feel Good Flicks
Who can resist the great Fred Rogers? Cuddle up and catch Tom Hanks in “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.” You can also let “Matilda” dazzle you with her magical powers. Or, if you want a little more football, consider taking in “Remember the Titans.”
