Toyota GT86 2017 Alabama

With Scion fading away, Toyota has been preparing to take over its popular models. One of these models, which is getting a new overhaul, is the Scion FR-S sports car. The FR-S is going to be rebadged as the 2017 Toyota 86. Let’s see what you can expect with the updated car.

2017 Toyota 86 Style

The 2017 Toyota 86 is going to be getting a sharp new look thanks to new LED headlamps, wheels, bumpers, turn signals, and taillights. This car may have a new name, but it will still turn heads on the highway with its sleek new look and sporty redesign. New twist-spoke wheels are a great accompaniment to the more aggressive look, too. Not only is the exterior of the 86 getting a makeover, but the interior as well. The interior will feature a new, comfortable and stylish seat material, “Grandlux”, an upgraded instrument panel, and new door panels. The cosmetic overhaul gives this car a sleek, but aggressive new look that commands attention in the showroom and on the road.

2017 Toyota 86 Performance

With regard to performance, revised shock tuning and a spring rate change will improve handling and provide agile control on the 2017 Toyota 86. The manual transmission gets a gear ratio change for quicker acceleration, which increases both the horsepower and torque by five. Now the 2.0-liter flat-four will produce 205 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque.

If you are looking for a sporty new ride, then look no further than the all-new Toyota 86. Whether you were a fan of the original Scion FR-S, or are a new enthusiast, the 2017 Toyota 86 will not disappoint. These new cars will be on the lot before you know it.
