2016 Toyota Tacoma: Crawl Control
Whether you’re climbing over rocky terrain or down a steep decent, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma has your back with features like available Crawl Control.
The advanced crawl control system automatically controls the accelerator and brakes on five low-speed settings as you navigate, so when the trail gets challenging, you can focus on steering.
The lower speed positions are best for downhill rock, gravel, or mogul conditions, while the higher speeds are optimal for uphill snow, mud, gravel, or mogul conditions.
With the brake pedal depressed and transmission in neutral, turn the 4WD switch to the 4L position. Then, place the transmission in D or R. Press the crawl control button, and use the knob to select a speed. Take your foot off the brake, and crawl control will engage.
