National Wine Day
- Start off your Memorial Day Weekend just right with – National Wine Day! It is on Wine Wednesday – say it ain’t so! Head to Holler and Dash today and take pictures of your experience. Birmingham Zoo
- Free Admission for all active and retired military, veterans, and their dependents ALL Memorial Weekend long! May 28th through May 30th head to the Birmingham Zoo for animals, train rides, carousel’s and more. Your kids will love this!
Hot Air Balloon Festival
- Hop in your Toyota and head to Decatur, Al this weekend for the Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Festival. Over 60 balloons, arts and crafts show, antique car show, children activities plus food and more!
Memorial Day Service at Alabama National Cemetery
- We encourage you to attend the Flag Placement Ceremony Saturday, May 28th at 9am honoring all of our fallen heroes along with a Memorial Day Observance on the 30th at 9am at the Alabama National Cemetery. Both events will be great experience and fun for this Memorial Day Weekend!
The Color Run
- Red, White and Blue are not the only colors you will see at this race! Birmingham is hosting the Color Run at the BJCC this Saturday the 28th! Grab a friend and get ready to get coated in all sorts of colors. Sign up now!
National Hamburger Day
- Thinking about cooking out this Memorial Day Weekend, but no time to go to the grocery store? Think no more, Saturday the 28th is National Hamburger Day.
